radio silence

for symphony orchestra, a work in progress for the Irish National Symphony Orchestra, as part of the 2020 Composer Lab Project organised by the Contemporary Music Centre, Ireland.

This piece is a hommage to the medium of radio waves themselves, setting the spaces between broadcast stations, areas of rich textures of noise, for loudspeakers and symphony orchestra.
